Pastor Joe has served as Lead Pastor at River City Community Church since July 2019. He and his wife Carolyn have four daughters: Emma, Abigail, Hannah and Maggie. Pastor Joe is a graduate of Southeastern University with a degree in Theology. Prior to coming to RC3, he served as a Lead Pastor in
Michigan and Arkansas as well as youth and young adults ministries in Illinois for over 10 years. Joe and Carolyn have a passion for leading and discipling believers into a deeper walk with Christ. In his spare time, Pastor Joe enjoys reading, coffee, and spending time with his family.

Gary Witthoeft
Worship and Admin
Gary started his ministry at River City Community Church in February of 2022. Gary has over 20 years of worship leading experience and spent most of his professional career in churches in the Chicagoland area as well as serving as a freelance worship leader at times. Gary attended Berklee College of Music and has a Masters Certificate in Music Production.
Gary is passionate about worship and music and desires to create an atmosphere that leads to a deep encounter with the Lord. He enjoys writing music, building things with his hands and playing sports.
